Understanding the world of sewing better...
I am working my way though Dorothy Moore's "Pattern drafting and Dressmaking" from 1971.
With the considerable help of "Vogue Sewing" from 2006 (editor Crystal McDougald)... and my husband ...
The idea is to use the skills I am acquiring with this course on the mid 20th century fashion I am making (e.g. "project marilyn's dresses" and "a dress through the decade") on other vintage inspired stuff and generally learning about fitting. :)
While I am sewing my way, I will be updating and linking the lessons below, so you can jump directly to them. I hope you are enjoying this as much as me.
