I've made these Marthas aaaaages ago. Years.  I've been wearing them a lot, i really love them. The pattern is great and it is perfect for busy patterns (I think...).

There are several option to the Marthas, small and big hood, shawl collar, pockets or not, sleeve options, several different top versions. I even think the Marthas are so great, they can distract from the stupid door backround. :)

The size is quite accurate, I just find the shoulders are a bit narrow, I added about 1cm at each size of the shoulder seam (towards the arm, both on back and front piece). I shortened the upper length about 1 cm.  Obviously these are individual measurement that depend on everybody's body, so it's not the patterns fault. Overall the sizing is very accurate.

The instructions are really good, I've got them in German, I don't really know whether she offers other languages, BUT I think it's easy enough to make it even if you don't understand the language, if you've made a shirt before.

Ich hab schon WIEDER eine Martha genäht. Die gefällt mir sogut. Genauso wie die Stoffe von lillestoff. Und jetzt konnte ich halt wieder nicht widerstehen. Monsterdrops. In quietschegrün. Und gelb. und petrol. und und und...
Bilder gibt's bisher nur von der Mini Martha.

Ich habe diesmal keine Tasche mit Hintergrund genäht sondern einfach nur einen Pulli (oder Shirt, wasauchimmer), sonst wär's sogar mir zu viel geworden (ja, das gibt's). Ich hatte zuerst überlegt, den dazugehörigen Stoff "Monstertown" zu nehmen, aber irgendwie wollte der Funken nicht überspringen. So habe ich einfach nur in der Kapuze, am Bündchen unten und an den Ärmeln petrol jersey eingesetzt und das ist genau so, wie ich es mag. ich wollte eigentlich wieder die identische Mini-Martha nähen, ABER weil ich leider zuerst zwei rechte Ärmel zugeschnitten habe (grrrr....), hatte ich einen etwas höheren Stoffverbraucht... so ist das Kind mit einer Komplett petrolfarbenen Kapuze mit Tropfenapplikation ausgestattet. Sieht aber auch gut aus, finde ich. :)
Ich find den Stoff mit den schrägen Tropfen SUPERtoll! Leider hat Lillestoffe so VIELE schöne Stoffe, aber ich kann nicht so viele Marthas nähen. 1. wer braucht so viele Pullis 2. so günstig sind sie auch wieder nicht (auch wenn man bedenkt dass es wirklich wunderbar griffige, schöne Baumwolle mit Stretch ist...) 3. vernunft sagt nein, man braucht nicht so viele pullis. Auch das Kind braucht nicht so viele Pullis. Oder shirts.

Update: Martha und Mini Martha Pullover

I've done it again. I couldn't resist the pattern. And from the leftover material I've made the same pullover for little-Lucy. My pattern is Martha from Milchmonster, Lucy's Pullover is based on the Ottobre Design 1/10 Pinaatti (or so, I can't quite recall the name, but it is a simple T#Shirt pattern).The fabric (both the little mushrooms on yellow and the forest fabric) is from Lillestoff.
I'm growing really fond of my overlock sewing machine, after having doubts I would ever figure out how to put the threads in... And I am SO enjoying doing contemporary fashion, which is quite a new thing for me. The Pattern by Milchmonser "Martha" is a treat to work with, again.

Lieblingspullover...!!

Ich habe endlich mal etwas modernes für mich genäht. Ich bin neulich mehr per Zufall über dieses online Schnittmuster gestolpert und wußte sofort - das MUSS ich haben! Ich LIEBE Pullover mit Kapuze und Kragen und der hier hat so viele Varianten dabei... Der Pulli "Martha" vom Milchmonster. :)

Der kann ALLES! Ehrlich! Kapuze, Kragen, Shirt, Pulli, lange, kurze oder ohne Ärmel, mit falten, ohne falten, mit Mittelnaht oder ohne, Puffärmel, normale Ärmel, Tasche oder keine, sogar eine Stillvariante ist dabei!!!

So, ich habe nicht wiederstehen können, es sofort runtergeladen, ausgedruckt und mit Stoffen von meinem Stoffberg genäht. ich habe eine Schwäche für 70er Jahre-Muster... :)
von hinten sieht man nur das blaue Bündchen unten, sonst ist es uni Blumenmuster. Der Stoff ist von Michas-Stoffecke.de, vor Ewigkeiten bestellt (eigentlich für das Kind... ähem...) von Hamburger Liebe ist das Design glaube ich.

Hier ist das Ergebnis. :) ohne Inhalt, ich weiss,... sieht an mir nicht halb so Musterwild aus wie am KLeiderbügel, komischerweise. ;)
