OD 3/10 Savanni

 So, ich habe mich wieder mit einem Ottobre Design Schnittmuster (Savanni, OD 3/10) auseinandergesetzt. Recht intensiv diesmal sogar. Man wird es nicht glauben, aber diese Ärmel haben mich wahnsinnig gemacht. Irgendwie wird das halb recht, halb links zusammengenäht, die Anleitung sagt "machen Sie dasselbe mit den Ärmeln (Futter und Oberstoff)" und es GEHT NICHT. Es ist wie das Möbius-Band... immer ist irgendwas verdreht gewesen. Ich hab dann die Geduld verloren und hab sie einfach so zusammengelegt, wie ich sie haben wollte (es geht um den Ärmelsaum, nebenbeigesagt) und ehrlich gesagt ist es auch egal. Obwohl es mich schon wurmt... naja. Wer weiss, wovon ich spreche, das schonmal genäht hat und verstanden hat, wie man es näht... melde sich bitte... ich hab's nicht geschafft. 

Aber ansonsten ist das Schnittmuster wirklich süss und gut aneinandergegangen. Ich habe es aus weisser BW-Voile und einem BW-Leinen-Gemisch als Futter genäht. An den Ärmeln sind kleine weisse Schleifchen und Herz-Knöpfchen und hinten wird  es mit weissen Zwirnknöpfen geschlossen. eigentlich wollte ich rote nehmen, aber ich hatte nicht mehr genug da... Wie die junge Dame es findet, ist noch unbekannt, das Schnittmuster fällt etwas grösser aus (wie immer...) und es ist schlechtes Wetter...

- I have made another dress for Lucy, again from the Ottobre Design Magazine.It is "Savanni" from OD 3/10. The assembly of the sleeves drove me absolutely crazy, I gave up in the end and just put them together differently, I just didn't understand how to get them together, it was like to Moebius-Strip, always twisted... if anybody knows this problem and has found out what went wrong.. feel free to contact me, I'd really like to know as it is bothering me now to have mastered the "simple" task of assembling sleeves and sleeve linings...

Anyway, apart from this issue it went together really nicely and I am happy with the outcome (I don't know about Lucy, the pattern runs big as usual and the weather is rainy and coldish).  I have made the dress from white cotton voild and white cotton-linen-fabric as lining. The sleeves have little white bows and red heart buttons as decoration, in the back it closes with 4 white cotton thread buttons. Initially I was planning to add red buttons... but I didn't have any...

Robe à la Francaise - Maria Walpole

So, die ersten Schritte zur Walpole-Francaise sind gegangen.
Meine alten Stays passen mir noch, deswegen werde ich sie nur reparieren und tragen.
Die Poschen (ich habe mich nach dem Schnitt von Rocking Horse gerichtet) sind fertig (ich habe aber kein Bild aber wie Poschen aussehen dürfte ja klar sein. Sie sind aus weissem Köper). Der Schnitt ist einfach und soweit empfehlenswert.
Ich habe den Fitting  Muslin von dem JPR Schnittmuster für die Francaise mit Stecker genäht, aufgrund der Beschaffenheit der Konstruktion einer Francaise muss ich gar nichts ändern. :)

The first steps to do the Walpole-Francaise are completed. I can use my old stays so I won't make a new pair. I have made the hoops following rocking horse patterns (went together well) in white canvas. Sorry I have no picture... yet...
Also I have finished the Fitting Muslin of the Francaise (JPR) and I am very happy I don't have to make any alterations due to the construction of the robe. ;)

OD 3/10 Phoebis dress and Delia bloomers

And some more stuff for Lucy. ;) I have followed Ottobre Design 3/10, patterns "Phoebis" (dress) and "Delia" (Bloomers). I've made them in size 62, again they seem to be fairly big but in these designs it doesn't really matter I guess. Both went together really smoothly, they are highly recommendable therefore. I've made the Bloomers twice. The yellow and peacock one to go with the OmNomNomMonster dress .
The other one in brown polka dots to go with the red dress. Also I could try out the "elastic as bobbin thread" gathering for smocking (sleeves and legs), so I can use that to make a summer dress for myself. ;)

OD 3/10 Delia Bloomers

 Ich habe noch ein paar Sachen für Lucy genäht... diesmal aus der Ottobre Design 3/10, die Modelle "Phoebis" (Kleid) und die Bloomers "Delia". Beide in Grösse 62, wieder mal fallensie eher gross aus, aber diesmal ist das auch ok. Die Schnittmuster gingen sehr sehr einfach zusammen, sehr empfehlenswert. Die Bloomers habe ich gleich 2mal genäht, einmal in gelb mit Pfauen (passen zum OmNomNomMonster-Kleid) und dann als Set Phoebis-Delia. Ich hab ausserdem wieder geübt, mit Elastikfaden auf derUnterfadenspule zu smocken, ging ganz gut, bald kann ich mir ein Sommerkleid in dieser Technik nähen. ;) Aber hier sind die Bilder von den Sachen für Lucy:
