Although I have been promising repeatedly, that I won't buy more fabric than I have actual sewing projects, AGAIN I couldn't resist this offer. My all times favourite Indienne fabric of the Kyoto Anglaise (Moda Fabric, French General, Maison de Garance):

for an average of 8,50 Euros/m and free delivery. Keep in mind, I am petite, I only need 4mtrs/anglaise. ;) I do admit, I don't really need more late 1780s Robe a l'Anglaise, but I feel so much calmer knowing I've got the fabric. ;) I have  not decided yet whether I should make them en fourreau or not. The brown original I think, is "en fourreau", the red one isn't. With my cream coloured one I found you don't really see the pleats. which is a shame, they need so much sewing attention. ;) And isn't this a concise sewing plan? ;)

I do love sewing for Lucy. :) It's superquick and as you don't need acres of fabric you can really go for those nice patterns. :)
I have followed ottobre design magazine patterns (03/10). And indulged in strange patterned jerseys and cotton woven fabric. :) Also it gives me the chance to get acquainted with my overlock sewing machine...

Ich bin total begeistert davon, Dinge für Lucy zu nähen. Es geht schnell, man braucht nicht viel Stoff und ich kann meiner Leidenschaft für eigenartig gemusterte Jerseys und Webware komplett nachgeben. Ich habe  die Ottobre Design (Ausgabe 03/10, ich habe eh so eine Schwäche für Finnland...) benutzt. Ausserdem gibt es mir die Möglichkeit, mit meiner Overlockmaschine warm zu werden... ein technisches Wunderwerk! ;)

Wild Dresses

Ich konnt diesen Stoffen einfach nicht widerstehen. :) Ich LIEBE Jerseys mit wilden Mustern, die ich zu Cache-Coeur Kleidchen verarbeite. Der Schnitt basiert auf Burda 7828. Bitteschön:

Das Internet ist eine wirklich unerschöpfliche Quelle an Stoffen und Kurzwaren... obwohl ich schon einiges gesehen habe... falls jemand einen Tipp hat zu einer Quelle, die ich noch nicht erschlossen habe... einfach Bescheid sagen! :) (Auch gerne für Stoffe, die für historische Kleidung geeignet ist... )
